Borman Violin for Sale

This instrument was originally commissioned by the violinist Anne-Akko Meyers in 2007 who concertized on it for many years until she acquired the Guarneri del Gesu "Vieuxtemps" (still the highest known price paid for a violin, almost 16 million dollars) in 2017 at which point she commissioned an "acoustic copy" of said instrument. Upon completion and delivery of that instrument Terry received the original Borman violin from 2007 as partial payment for the new instrument. The current owner of this violin has now retired so is making this instrument available. If you have any questions please contact us with the link below.

I have been a violin maker for 44 years and I am proud of the reputation I have built. I am especially proud of the fact that many of today's most well known musicians have acquired multiple instruments of mine over the years; affirming the fact that not only do my instruments retain their sound quality but that they improve with time. Although I have retired due to medical issues, I continue to maintain my instruments for their owners and occasionally help with resales.
